Hi all. Well, we've made it a far as LAX now Both the flights to Charlotte and Los Angeles went smoothly and even arrived a touch earlier than scheduled giving us ample opportunity to get to our next gate. We've spent Grand total of 8+ hours traveling so far. Now comes the "Big One" - 15 straight hours in the air to Sydney. On the plus side, we do have the next best thing having booked Premium Economy with wider, more comfy seats than regular economy. I hope my girl will be able to get some rest.
For it being almost 1:00 am East Coast time, I'm remarkably wide awake and alert. The excitement of the trip has kept the adrenaline flowing. We're about half an hour from boarding our American Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner now. Our next post will come to you from beautiful downtown Sydney. Wish us luck!
