So, we made it thought the day pretty well and went to sleep around 7:30 to 8:00. Unfortunately, I am wide awake. It is a little after midnight on Sunday here which means that it is 9:00 AM Saturday EST. Apparently, I have not adjusted. Rob is sound asleep though.

DeleteWe miss you already too. It will be the longest time we have not seen our children ever. Even if one of you was studying abroad, we still had the other two to connect with. Dad is still sleeping, so he is doing great! Sleep has been my problem for years, so I guess it will take a little more time to adjust. Still the upside is watching BBC and seeing so much more of the world view than we normally get at home.

Dad and I are on our way to New Zealand in an 8:30 taxi cab with an 11:00 flight. I am getting tired now but I am sure I will adjust in a few days. That was the point of coming 3 days early, so I am just going to use them. Dad is doing so great and adjusted so well. I miss you and love you!

ReplyDeleteSo true! I have hiked to the top of mountains each day so far. I am glad we have a day at sea tomorrow to relax. It is beautiful here. You would love it.
